(and some sad
) poems wot I wrote
A Song Without A Name
The greatest love song of all time
'The Song That Has No Name'
Can't force myself to hear it
And that's a crying shame
As far as I'm concerned
That song is ours, always
Will never leave its cover
Throughout these gloomy days
For a very different reason
There's another I can't play
It's also quite symbolic now
In a less distressing way
Written by Gerry Rafferty
Re-recorded by the Pogues
A crude expletive at the end
Wily malicious rogues!
It means you only hear it
In dismal solitude
Perhaps that was the point
That's why it is so rude!
Slainte!
